Empowering students through AI-driven learning — a vision recognized at one of Mexico’s leading educational innovation events.

About IA-SSISTANT
I’m incredibly honored to share that my project, IA-SSISTANT, received an honorable mention at the 2025 CITE BUAP Conference (Congreso de Innovación y Tecnología para la Educación), organized by the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla.
The recognition was awarded during the closing ceremony of the event, which brought together leaders in educational technology and innovation across Mexico. The ceremony was led by top university officials, including Ygnacio Martínez Laguna (Vice Rector for Research and Graduate Studies), Alfredo Avendaño Arenaza (Director of Libraries), and Marco Antonio de los Santos Landa (Director of Computing and IT).

IA-SSISTANT is a conversational AI assistant designed to support high school students with academic guidance, emotional connection, and accessible information — all through natural, human-like interaction. The assistant was created with a core objective: to provide students with personalized, reliable, and empathetic support in their learning journey.
Built using advanced language models and educational frameworks, IA-SSISTANT serves as a 24/7 digital companion that can:
Answer curriculum-based questions in real time
Reinforce classroom content through tailored explanations
Encourage independent learning habits
Receiving this mention at such a prestigious event not only validates the technical and pedagogical innovation of IA-SSISTANT, but also reinforces a shared mission: to create learning experiences that are both human and future-facing. In a world increasingly driven by automation and data, we must remember that education is fundamentally about connection.
This project continues to grow, and this recognition only motivates me further to keep building solutions that matter — solutions that are rooted in care, creativity, and curiosity.
